Diagnosis

Find out what your GoHighLevel account is actually doing

Most underperforming GoHighLevel accounts do not need rebuilding. They need somebody to work out which of the forty workflows are actually firing, and which have been broken for months.

Quick answer

What is a GoHighLevel account audit?

A GoHighLevel account audit is a structured review of an existing sub-account that documents what is configured, what is actively firing, what is broken or duplicated, and what is unused. It produces a written findings document with a prioritised fix list, rather than building anything.

The problem

What this actually fixes

  • You have forty workflows and nobody knows which ones still run.

  • Three people configured the account over two years and none of them documented it.

  • Messages are not arriving and nobody can work out where the failure is.

  • Contacts are duplicated, so the same person receives everything twice.

  • You are paying for a platform you suspect you are using a fraction of.

  • Someone suggested rebuilding from scratch and you have no way to judge whether that is right.

Scope

What's included

Every engagement is scoped to what you actually need. This is the full deliverable list.

  1. Deliverable 01

    Workflow inventory

Every workflow catalogued with its trigger, whether it is currently firing, and whether anything else overlaps it.

  2. Deliverable 02

    Execution analysis

What has actually run recently versus what merely exists — usually the largest gap in an inherited account.

  3. Deliverable 03

    Data integrity check

Duplicate contacts, orphaned records, inconsistent custom fields and tags that mean different things in different places.

  4. Deliverable 04

    Deliverability review

Domain authentication, sender reputation and A2P registration status, which is where silent message failure usually originates.

  5. Deliverable 05

    Pipeline and reporting assessment

Whether your stages describe your sales process, and whether the data supports the reporting you want.

  6. Deliverable 06

    Integration health

Which connections are live, which have silently disconnected, and what data is flowing where.

  7. Deliverable 07

    Prioritised fix list

Findings ranked by impact and effort, so you know what to do first and what can wait.

  8. Deliverable 08

    Rebuild-or-repair recommendation

An honest assessment of whether the account is salvageable. Frequently it is, and we say so even though a rebuild would be worth more to us.

How it works

From first call to running system

  1. Step

    Access and inventory

    Day 1

Read-only access, then a full catalogue of what exists in the account.

  2. Step

    Execution and data analysis

    Days 2–3

What is firing, what is failing, where the data is inconsistent, where messages are not delivering.

  3. Step

    Findings document

    Days 3–5

A written report with evidence, ranked by impact. Yours regardless of what you do next.

  4. Step

    Walkthrough call

We talk through the findings and answer questions. If nothing needs building, that is a legitimate outcome.

Use cases

Where this earns its keep

Inherited account

You took over an account somebody else built and nobody can explain what it does.

Unexplained underperformance

Leads are arriving and not converting, and nobody can identify where the process breaks.

Before committing to a rebuild

An audit costs a fraction of a rebuild and frequently shows one is unnecessary.

Agency due diligence

Assessing a client account before quoting work on it, so the quote reflects reality.

The cheapest way to start

If you are not sure what you need, start here rather than with a build.

An audit costs a fraction of an implementation and it answers the question that actually matters: is this account fundamentally sound with some broken parts, or is it structurally wrong? Those have very different answers and most people cannot tell which they have.

We have talked plenty of people out of rebuilds after an audit. That is not generosity — a rebuild sold to someone who needed six fixes produces a disappointed client and no referrals. Better to be right.

Questions

GoHighLevel Account Audit — common questions

Will the audit tell us to rebuild?

Sometimes, and often not. Most accounts we audit are salvageable — the problems are typically a handful of broken workflows, deliverability failures and data inconsistency rather than a fundamentally wrong structure. We say so when that is the case, even though recommending a rebuild would be more lucrative for us.

What access do you need?

Read-only sub-account access is sufficient for the audit itself. We do not need to change anything to assess it, and we would rather not have write access on an account we are only diagnosing.

Do we have to buy the fixes from you?

No. The findings document is yours and it is written so your own team or another provider could act on it. An audit that is only actionable by the person who wrote it is a sales device rather than an audit.

How is this different from a strategy call?

A strategy call is a conversation about what you want to achieve. An audit is a technical examination of what your account is currently doing, with evidence. They answer different questions and the audit is the one that tells you why things are not working.

What is the most common finding?

Workflows without exit conditions — sequences that keep sending after a contact has replied, booked or opted out. It appears in the majority of inherited accounts we look at, it actively damages relationships, and it is usually straightforward to fix.
